The Westport Library Book Sale is Back! Labor Day Weekend September 2020

The Westport Library Book Sale is back, with a three-day sale to be held Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th, 2020, in the Westport Library at 20 Jesup Road, on the Library’s main level.
This Book Sale offers something for virtually everyone, with thousands of books in over 30 categories, including children’s books, from infants to teens; graphic novels and comics; literature and classics; fiction, SciFi/fantasy and mysteries; nonfiction including art, photography, history, math, science, psychology, biography, cooking, gardening, performing arts, travel, and more, including Noteworthy, especially antiquarian books. A selection of vinyl records, CDs, audio books and DVDs will also be available.
In order to provide as safe an environment as possible for patrons, volunteers and employees, the number of persons admitted to the sale at any time will be limited. Further, every person will be required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times while inside the Library, and to maintain 6’ social distance as much as possible. Directional and distance markings will be indicated on the floor to help facilitate distancing. Entry will be via the Library’s Upper Parking Lot entrance only.
Admission on the first day of the sale, Friday, September 4th will be by pre-paid, timed admission tickets, only. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 24th at 8:00 a.m. at www.eventbrite.com.
Admission to the book sale on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th will be free, first come, first served.
Book sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each of Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, please visit "Our Events".

Can’t make the sale? The Westport Library Book Sale is also online! A curated selection of books, CDs and jigsaw puzzles is available for purchase here, with pickup of purchased items, by appointment, at the Book Donation Center in the Library’s Upper Parking Lot.
