A benefit event
to support the next phase of our employment program
October 25th
6:30pm to 8:30pm
at The Westport Library
In November 2021, Westport Book Sales began selling books on eBay. Now we are piloting an expansion of our employment program, to engage employees with differing abilities in our eBay business. Participation in our eBay business will provide training in valuable computer, data entry and office-type skills, broadening the work experience and marketability of our employees. And it will provide support for our fledgling online sales business.
Join us on October 25 for Chapter Two: From Retail to E-Tail, and help raise funds to support this next phase of our employment program. Join us for live music, light bites & beverages, both a live and a silent auction of a representative sample of the kinds of things we sell on eBay, plus artwork and signed books donated uniquely for this event.
A catalog of auction items will be posted when tickets go on sale, and will include: a first edition of Saint-Exupery's The Little Prince ---- a poster autographed by Sylvester Stallone ---- three books signed by Laura Linney ----- 2 new copies of The New Yorker in Westport donated by its authors Eve Potts and Andrew Bentley ---- a custom lenticular artwork created by Miggs Burroughs ---- and much more! PLUS bid on the opportunity for you and four guests to have one hour exclusive access to our next big Library Book Sale event on December 1, 2023 before anyone else is admitted to the sale!

Chapter Two Benefit Tickets are $75 per person and will go on sale beginning September 25th. Check back here then!
