Volunteer at a Book Sale event
At our Book Sale events volunteers help by carrying, un-boxing, organizing and merchandising our inventory for sale; preparing marketing materials and communications, placing signs and posters around Westport and surrounding communities to advertise the Book Sale; or working a shift during a Book Sale as a greeter, way-finder, re-shelver, tallyer or cashier.
-
Volunteer year-around in the Book Donation Center
Volunteers at our Book Donation Center, located adjacent to the Westport Library, sort, evaluate research, price and organize the tens of thousands of books donated throughout the year. Volunteers also help restock our daily book sales shelves inside the Library, and the community outreach kiosks at the Westport train stations and Senior Center.

Volunteer to work with adults with disabilities
For those who want to further the abilities of our differently-abled employees, please share your skills and experience. We welcome all backgrounds including those with social work, special education, vocational training, psychology and other similar experience including parents and friends of disabled adults.
