Given Westport's rich heritage in the arts, it should not be surprising to learn that more than 750 covers of The New Yorker magazine were created by local Westport area artists.
This gorgeous book presents a collection of 50 New Yorker magazine covers created by Westport area artists, inspired by local scenes. Accompanying each cover are interesting stories and little known facts about the wonderful and special town of Westport, CT.
Featured artists include Charles Addams, Perry Barlow, Whitney Darrow, Jr., James Daugherty, Edna Eicke, Arthur Getz, Alice Harvey, Helen Hokinson, Albert Hubbell, David Preston, Garrett Price, and Charles Saxon.
Raffle drawing will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the Westport Book Shop, 23 Jesup Road, at approx. 3pm. Raffle ticket holder does not need to be present to win.
