In the News: Stories in Bloom Returns to Westport for a Family-Focused Celebration of Local Authors and Community

Westport, CT - The Westport Book Shop invites the community to the 2nd Annual Stories in Bloom Local Author Showcase on Saturday, May 30, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Jesup Green in Westport, directly across from the bookshop.

This free outdoor celebration brings together a wonderful lineup of more than three dozen local authors with books for readers of all ages — from toddlers to adults — ready to meet guests and sign books. The showcase features genres including Fiction, Children’s, Self-Help, Poetry, Mystery, Spirituality, Neurodiversity, Health, and Environment.

This community celebration offers a rare opportunity to chat with authors about their creative journeys, purchase signed copies of their books, and enjoy a morning full of literary inspiration and fun.

More than just an author showcase, Stories in Bloom is designed as a joyful community gathering for all ages.

Families can enjoy:

• Bubbles, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a festive Maypole for children

• Friendly corn hole games for all ages

• Light refreshments and snacks while exploring the event
